A Book Can Change a Story

Announcing our New Executive Director

The WePAC Board of Directors is very pleased to introduce Jenny Lowman as the new Executive Director of WePAC effective April 12, 2021!

Jenny is no stranger to WePAC, having served both as a volunteer at the Blankenburg School and as our grant writer. As the daughter of a public school English teacher, she grew up surrounded by the written word and enjoyed creating a home library of picture books to share with her two children (now teenagers) when she became a mother herself.  Jenny participates in a book group that has been meeting for 25 years and is still going strong and is unable to pass a book store without going inside and buying at least a few books!

Prior to working for WePAC, Jenny served for 12 years as Director of Client Services and Training and a senior staff attorney at the Education Law Center (ELC) in Philadelphia where she was devoted to ensuring that all Pennsylvania students have access to a quality public education.  Jenny also currently serves as a proud member of the Cheltenham School District’s school board.  In her spare time, Jenny enjoys traveling with her daughter and son (just not during the pandemic), playing tennis, baking, snuggling with her dachshund, and reading contemporary literary fiction.

Jenny holds a B.A. in Government from Lehigh University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
